200hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

A 28-day immersive training focused on inner stillness, meditation, and embodied presence.

Located in the heart of Koh Phangan’s lush jungle, The Source is a sanctuary for presence, stillness, and connection with nature. Unlike other retreat centers, this space is guided by a deep sense of peace and slowness — transmitted by George, the lead teacher, through every breath and every movement.

  • A tranquil, non-commercial space rooted in meditation

  • Locally owned and intentionally small-scale

  • Fresh, nutritious meals made with love

  • Affordable pricing without compromising quality

  • A truly grounding experience in nature

  • George is a genuine Yoga teacher who offers focused classes with a sense of lightness and ease, encompassing many dimensions of Yoga. His physical movement and posture practice is inspiring but also doesn’t conflate Yoga with advanced posture. He seeks to help students find their own quality movement and stability. George’s teachings allow students space for self-earned understanding.

George teaches from the view of traditional classic Shaiva Tantra - that all existence is the perfect expression of the divine presence, radically free, consciousness awakening to blissful repose in a journey of self-knowledge and union.

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Bestie’s spiritual journey began at just three years old with a simple meditation session led by her Buddhist father. This early experience profoundly impacted her, lighting a spark that has guided her ever since.

Bestie holds a Bachelor’s in Business and has deep roots in Dhamma Studies, having completed Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. She’s currently expanding her knowledge by studying Pali and the Tripitaka.

In 2013, she ordained for nine months at Nirodharam Vipassana Center, where her master Nantayani Bhikkhuni encouraged her to continue practicing and sharing the teachings of Buddha.

In 2017, Bestie became a certified sound healer, shortly after completing her YTTC with Tara & Dr. Amrita and Reiki with Mrs. Bella in India. Her sound healing journey truly blossomed in Hua Hin with Thai master Dr. Buathon.

Since 2019, she’s been a valued part of the One Yoga team, and now, in 2025, she’s focusing primarily on her sound healing sessions. Bestie masterfully combines her extensive knowledge and experience to guide attendees not only to deep relaxation but also into a meditative state.

Testimonials

  • George is one of the most amazing teachers I’ve ever had. It really makes a big difference if you want to become a teacher that you learn from someone who you feel can give you knowledge and wisdom. I’m so happy I had the chance to learn at The Source, it has improved my personal practice a lot. Throughout the course I become stronger and much more balanced. I would highly recommend choosing this course!

  • There are so many yoga retreats that have YTTC all over the world and I feel very lucky to have completed training from George. I have done yoga a few times before the course, but this course got me a completely new view of yoga and new perspective to look at things. I really enjoyed every session of meditation, pranayama, asana, philosophy and anatomy. Before starting the course I wasn’t 100% sure about what I will be going through, but a month just flew by and i wanted to know and to study more and more about discipline and philosophy. George is an amazing teacher, has a lot of patience and good communication. It was a wonderful experience, if I would come back for 300hr YTTC I would come back to George!

  • I just finished a 29 day course with George Anthony and I can't even express how transformative this experience was for me and my colleagues. It is rare to meet such a genuine person who, in his own words, "has no expectations of you but only the highest hopes and dreams for you." The changes I've felt go beyond the physical asana of yoga and have encompassed my emotions, thoughts and actions in nearly everything I do. I feel peaceful and present. Grateful and content. Calm and energized. Patient and reflective. We were challenged to be more open to perspectives and not assume what is true for us is true for others. With this practice has come an even stronger feeling of compassion. This community of growth came from many open minds and hearts who were immersed in the spirit of understanding. I would gladly speak to any questions one might have about this course. Know that I have zero reservations about recommending it and hope you go for it if you're able. ’Thank you' couldn't possibly cut it, but George isn't looking for recognition anyway, it is just part of his nature to share his joy with others.
